COACH
Sierra Bixler
I have always loved being involved and playing different sports, but volleyball was always my favorite. I played starting in seventh grade and always took any chance I could to get better. Taking lessons, attending camps, and practicing at home with my twin sister. I played all the way through high school and graduated in 2016 from Tuslaw. I continued on to play at Malone University as a defensive specialist until graduating in 2020. In addition to giving private lessons, I decided to return to Tuslaw and coach soon after graduating. I was the freshman coach and one of the assistant varsity coaches for two years. Outside of volleyball, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, being outside, and I have recently enjoyed learning how to make sourdough bread! I have been teaching in the Tuslaw School District for four years. I have been a kindergarten teacher for 3 of those years and I am really enjoying it! I live in Dalton with my husband, Titus, and we attend Fairlawn Mennonite church together. I’m excited to be a part of 323 and encourage the girls in their faith as we help give them a positive environment to grow their skills and knowledge as volleyball players!
