5th-6th Grade

Our spring season is a 3 month season in which we train athletes in 5 & 6th grade once a week for two hours. These athletes try out for a team in late October. We place them on teams by following OHSAA guidelines and assign them a coach. These players train with their coaches and Allison Clark. At this age, we train the 6 main skills of volleyball, main principles of the game, and place players in competition settings to learn team play. These teams practice once a week, but also have, what we call, scrimmage nights. On these nights, we hire refs, parents come cheer, and the teams compete. Lastly, we believe not only in teaching the physical, but also the mind and heart. Each athlete receives a notebook that she keeps. At each practice, we use this notebook as a guide to lead us through different key values that align with Christianity. Along with values, the notebook also contains training principles addressing all aspects of the sport of volleyball. Each player receives:

  • 1 practice T-Shirt
  • 1 Jersey
  • 1 pair of Running Shorts
  • 1 Custom Notebook.

Winter Clinics (January-February)

k - 4th grade

Winter clinics are a series of 5 one hour practices scheduled once a week. During these practices, young athletes will be introduced to the sport of volleyball by interacting with the equipment, other players, and coaches. We will teach the 6 basic skills of volleyball by using alternative methods and techniques to give these littles success! Our hope is to create a simple knowledge and love for the game at an early age!
